In the context of the approval of the Roadmap for Carbon Neutrality in 2050 (RNC2050) in Portugal, the Municipality of Cascais intends to develop a roadmap for carbon neutrality for 2050 at municipal level, consistent with the RNC2050. To this end, Get2C carries out a detailed assessment of the effort required to decarbonize each of the municipality’s components in accordance with the RNC2050 scenarios, identify decarbonization options that lead to the alignment of strategic planning with the goal of carbon neutrality, and establish support mechanisms to implement the identified options.
