In the context of the approval of the Roadmap for Carbon Neutrality in 2050 (RNC2050) in Portugal, the Municipality of Azambuja intends to develop a roadmap for carbon neutrality for 2050 at municipal level, coherent with the RNC2050, starting with a basic study for its development. To this end, Get2C will carry out a detailed assessment of the effort needed to decarbonize each of the municipality’s components in line with the RNC2050 scenarios, quantify the potential deviation induced by current policies and identify the critical issues for decarbonization at the municipal level and stakeholder expectations, by holding a technical workshop.
